My name is Brad Hodges, owner of this blog, and I am foremost an orange tabby cat lover then a cat lover. My heart belongs to one special orange tabby named Rusty and thus the name of this blog. Rusty was born the day after the 911 tragedy on September 12 , 2001.

He became a refuge and comfort for me during those terrible times. Rusty has lived his entire life as an indoor cat and is my best friend. This blog and associated web sites are dedicated to this special cat and to all cat lovers who know how much your cat is an integral part of your lives.
